Industry-Academic Partnerships Workshop -  1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Chemistry Building 

This event will cover different ways academic-industry partnerships can develop, what are some best practices in starting and maintaining these collaborations, and what resources are available at the University of Iowa to bring these partnerships forward.  Moderated by Professor Tori Forbes

Laser Ablation/LIBS for Elemental Mapping Workshop -  1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Chemistry Building 

Join Dr. Linhan Li as he provides the fundamentals of Laser Ablation coupled to ICP-MS and Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS).  He will provide additional details on sample considerations, mapping capabilities, and data collection.  Workshop will be capped due to space limitations. Registration is required for this event (please see link below).

 

Graduate and Undergraduate Student Poster Session

Come share your research at the student poster session!  Food will be available for all participants and awards will be given for the best graduate and undergraduate student posters. Registration is required for this event (please see link below).
